Virtual Festival Brewery Registration

Brewers!

We’re excited to have you join us on our journey to create the first, and hopefully last, virtual Great American Beer Festival!

Breweries put the “Great” in Great American Beer Festival, so we want to drive traffic to YOUR brewery, both in person and online, between October 1-18.

Whether it’s your first Great American Beer Festival or your 20th, we hope you’ll join us as a participating brewery this fall!

Now, LOTS of details will get firmed up in the coming months but here is a brief overview of what’s to come:

The Festival

GABF 2020 will be a nationwide passport program connecting beer lovers and breweries from October 1-18. The festival culminates October 16-17, with passport-exclusive online content, and the GABF awards ceremony, broadcast by The Brewing Network. Passports are $20, with the option of bundling with a special edition commemorative t-shirt for $49.

The Competition Awards Ceremony

The awards ceremony will be broadcast (free of charge) on October 16 beginning at 5:00 p.m. MT via The Brewing Network and will be a virtual extravaganza of award announcements, video of actual judging, human interest stories featuring some of the entering breweries, and more. How to Get Involved

Register your Brewery!

Register to be a virtual festival participating brewery: $50

Being a participating GABF festival brewery requires a commitment to offer every GABF passport holder a “deal” during the 18-day (Oct 1-18) promotion period. We realize every brewery will be under different operating situations so the deal could include: a free 6 oz sample, discount on curbside pickup or delivery, discount on merch via online (for far away fans), special release beer, etc. All breweries will be asked to confirm their passport deal by September 1 for inclusion on the GABF website and in the passport.

Breweries are also encouraged to create their own unique promotions during this time and will be provided an official GABF 2020 social asset toolkit to drive sales and brewery visits.

Participating GABF virtual festival breweries will be promoted via the GABF website, social media, earned media, and more, from mid-August through October 18. The sooner you sign up, the longer your brewery will be promoted!

Extra Benefit

All breweries that register by August 1, 2020, will receive two GABF special edition brewer hats, so no worries about missing out on that! Additional hats will be available for preorder purchase at time of registration.
