Patrick Rue, CEO and founder of The Bruery, will take you on an exciting palate trip down memory lane, presenting variations of The Bruery’s 6th Anniversary Ale, Sucre. Cellaring for four years now, Sucre is a barrel-aged ale brewed in the English-style old ale tradition using the brewery’s house Belgian yeast strain. Rue will share multiple variations of the beer, each aged in different barrel varieties, while showcasing how the same base beer can change characteristics depending on the type of barrel used.
