Wednesday, October 4 | 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
For our second release event for GABF week, we will be liberating all of our exclusive collab beers from the cellar, plus unleashing one newbie.
Casey Brewing and Blending West Slope Connection volumes 1, 2, and 3– Vol. 1 is Oak Theory aged in freshly emptied bourbon barrels, Vol. 2 is Oak Theory aged in freshly emptied red wine barrels on whole primotivo grapes, and Vol. 3 is Oak Theory aged in freshly emptied rum barrels.
Telluride Brewing Co./Marble Brewery Unit Monster (not pictured)–Rye imperial stout aged in Whistle Pig Rye barrels on Colorado montmorency cherries and vanilla beans for 10 months. Oh my. This will be in 16 oz 4 packs.
Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project Bâtonnage Plum and regular Bâtonnage–“Bâtonnage” is a old wine making technique that involves stirring oak fermented wine on lees (spent yeast) as it ages to promote flavor development. These sour beers pay homage to that technique.
TRVE Brewing Pardise Gallows–Dark sour aged in oak barrels on black currants.
River North Brewery B’side Quandary and B’side Avarice. Quandary is a Belgian style quad brewed with black currants and aged in bourbon barrels. Avarice is an imperial coffee stout aged in rye whiskey barrels.
