Here are a few helpful hints and tips to help make your trip to the Great American Beer Festival the best it can be.
• New Entrance! Welton Street
There’s a new entrance this year. It’s at Welton Street. This is the only entrance to the festival (change from last year). Check out this handy map to see where to enter the convention center.
Once again all attendee entrances will be equipped with metal detectors. See also: Prohibited items.
Will Call opens the day of the first session and is located in the lower lobby of the Colorado Convention Center. Find it by entering through the doors to the right of the Blue Bear, head down the steps and you will see Will Call in the lower lobby hallway to your right. Tickets held at Will Call must be picked up by the person whose name is on the order–so you must know the full name of any person for whom you are leaving tickets. Ticket holder must present a photo ID.
Lockers & Bags
There are NO lockers at the Colorado Convention Center, nor is there a coat check. Prohibited items include backpacks, suitcases, large beach bags, etc., so please plan accordingly. See additional FAQs. Check out this handy illustration of what’s OK and what’s not OK.
There is an ATM located next to the Will Call booth in the lower lobby.
If you need special assistance or wheelchair access from the ticket line or Will Call, proceed to the elevator in the lower lobby. Please ask our volunteers to direct you.
Download the Free My GABF App
Got the app? It’s free and awesome, and it acts as your trusty tour guide. Pick your favorite beers and breweries, orient yourself on the festival map, and take a few of the 20+ beer tours. You can even snap a GABF-themed selfie using the new Photo Booth. Be sure to have the app open before you enter the hall for best possible connectivity. Get it for iPhone and Android.
It’s Not Just about GABF!
There are tons of other awesome events happening in the Denver area. So whether you need to find that rare beer release you’ve been dreaming of, the perfect pairing dinner or something completely different, it’ll be listed on the GABF Week Events page.
