Have a Few Extra Days? Colorado Front Range Destinations

If you’re lucky enough to have a few extra days to spend in Colorado, here are a few must-sees.  Don’t worry; we’ve included breweries on the list!

Boulder, Colorado
Ideally located at the base of the Front Range, Boulder is home of the University of Colorado and more than 300 miles of hiking trails. There are also plenty of options for great beer:

Colorado Springs, Colorado
To the south of the Denver metro area, Colorado Springs boasts spectacular views from the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak and is home to the Air Force Academy. Breweries to visit include:

Estes Park, Colorado
Situated directly under the peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park offers visitors views, wildlife, hiking and more.

Fort Collins, Colorado
The beautiful city of Fort Collins is minutes from the Poudre River Canyon and home to Colorado State University.  A visitor favorite, the Fort Collins Bike Library, offers free bike rentals for up to seven days.  This is the perfect way to see the town and a few of its most famous residents, the breweries:

Rocky Mountain National Park
You’re in luck; late September is a perfect time to visit the park. The aspens will be changing colors and it’s the height of elk rutting season!
