Thursday: 80s Night

GABF is an 80s baby, a true millennial. And to celebrate our 40th anniversary, we’re bowing to our favorite decade and all its weird and wonderful fads: neon, sweatbands, mullets, big hair, ripped sweatshirts and lace, leg warmers, tube socks, parachute pants, shoulder pads — you name it! Let’s wear it!
Friday: Festival Flair

The original costume night! Flaunt your flair, grab your friends and don your favorite theme.
Saturday Afternoon: Iconic Musicians & Bands

Pick your favorite iconic musician or band and let’s rock and roll! Did you know: 1982 was the year Ozzy Osbourne bit the head off a live bat on stage, the year Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” was released?
Saturday Night: Movie & TV Characters

While you can choose any year to influence your costume choice for your favorite movie or TV character, 1982 was a pretty awesome year for movies, music, and television. Cheers, E.T., Thriller, Blade Runner, Tron, Tootsie, Knight Rider, Captain Kirk yelling “KHAAAAN!” The sayings “I pity the fool” and “Just say no” both entered the vernacular.
