Other Specs & Festival Logistics
- All spirits must be registered for distribution in the state of Colorado. No exceptions.
- GABF consists of three sessions: Thursday, October 9 (5:30-9:30 pm), Friday, October 10 (5:30-9:30 pm), and Saturday, October 11 (12:30-4:30 pm).
- Festival attendees receive a tasting glass when they enter. Glasses will have a quarter-ounce pour line for spirits and a one-ounce pour line for beer, cider, and RTDs. Each distillery will also receive compostable sampling cups if preferred.
- If RTD(s) are a part of the distiller’s product line, one RTD may be substituted for one spirit brand.
- One of your company representatives will pour quarter-ounce (0.25-ounce) servings and answer questions at your booth.
- Shelf-stable, non-alcoholic mixers are permitted. Distilleries are responsible for hand-carrying and storing mixers within the booth space.
- No pre-batched mixed beverages or onsite shaken cocktails permitted.
- Ice requests and deliveries will be accommodated.
- Garnish requests are permitted and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
- Volume requirement of 3 cases per session (5 cases for Featured Distilleries) and any unopened bottles will be returned to storage for the following session.
- Elite Distributing is the host distributor and license holder for GABF. Distilleries do not need to apply for a permit or have a COI extension. We cover COI, permit, and excise taxes. No additional permits or licenses are permitted, including a distillery festival license.
- All products must be delivered to the Brewers Association warehouse in Louisville, CO, during the drop-off window (one week, one month before GABF). The product can be shipped via distributor or hand-delivered by the distillery. A $0 invoice must accompany all deliveries. Additional shipping information coming soon!
- Any unopened bottles remaining at the end of the festival can be retrieved post-festival, but an updated $0 invoice reflecting the quantity poured will be required.
